Fourager Quartet

Founded in 2021, Seattle jazz quartet Fourager is composed of tenor saxophonist Jackson Cotugno, bassist Julian Weisman, guitarist Martin Budde and drummer Rocky Martin. Each member of Fourager showcases original compositions rooted in the jazz tradition while actively stretching the traditional roles and responsibilities of their instruments in the quartet setting. The band performs throughout the West Coast, and explores themes of transformation and self sufficiency through connecting to nature, and the powerful gifts of friendship and community in the post-pandemic era. Fourager releases their 2025 debut recording June 7 at Seattle's Jazz Fellowship in Pioneer Square. Recorded by Ben Lange at Lang Studios May 12 and 13, 2024, mixed and produced by Ross Hoyt, and mastered by Dan Dean, Fourager embarks on a 10 date West Coast tour to celebrate their eponymously titled album.
